Google search engine update its search algorithm many times but
some updates were most effective which dropped lots of people business. Most
popular updates are the following.
Florida Update —
November 2003: this was biggest update in field of the search engine
optimization history. This update dropped lots of people business.
Big Daddy —
December 2005: this was based on cannibalization and redirects (301/302) and
more technical issued.
Panda— February
23, 2011: this was second biggest updated after 2003. It affected approx 12% of
search results. Google updated Panda many times and dropped many times keywords
ranking.
Penguin — April
24, 2012: This was third biggest and most powerful update. Penguin also dropped
lots of people business which based on search engine organic ranking based. This
update also ate lots of people jobs.
Exact-Match
Domain (EMD) Update — September 27, 2012: its dropped websites ranking which
domains based on exact matched keywords based.
Hummingbird —
August 20, 2013: currently running algorithm based on quality full website and
unique and informative content on site and off sites
